Albert Nürnberger silver mounted Violin Bow.
Beautiful professional silver mounted violin bow by Albert Nürnberger circa 1920.
This Nürnberger violin bow has its original brand stamp on the stick, stamped on players side :
"ALBERT NÜRNBERGER".
The Nürnberger family manufactured bows of very high quality since the mid 19th century,
and Franz Albert Nürnberger jun. (1854-1931) is one of the best bow makers of his famous family.
Albert Nurnberger bows are showing the top level of the German workmanship in bow making tradition.
The beautiful round stick is made of the finest brownisch/red pernambuco wood.
The stick has a fine curve, is strong and flexible with a good balance.
This bow produces a clear, bright but very strong tone across the 4 strings.
The length of the stick is around 73.2 cm (4/4 size) and the weight of the bow is 60 gr.
It comes with new silver winding and leather grip, ready to play !
Silver mounted frog with pearl eyes and original silver adjuster.(all parts are original).
