Georges Cunault is one of the finest French violin makers of his period : he worked for Sebastien Vuillaume and Miremont in Paris.

An exceptional example of early 20th-century French luthiery, this master violin was crafted in 1911 by the renowned Parisian maker Georges Cunault.
This instrument represents the peak of his mature period, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship and outstanding tonal qualities.

This is one of the finest Cunault's we have seen, the violin has its original label and stamp inside - and comes with a reliable J.J. Rampal certificate.
The violin is made in his 'good period' in 1911.
Very fine quality. Stradivari model , with a luminous, rich oil varnish of a stunning red-brown color over a golden ground.

This violin is made of good materials - a superbe one-piece back , very nice figured maple,
flamed ribs and a beautiful scroll.
Cunault violins are well known for their superbe tonal qualities, this violin produces a big well-balanced tone,
suited for the professional violin player; and it comes with a new set of strings and a new chinrest and French bridge, tailpiece with 4 adjusters.
