This is an elegant and strong example of the Morizot bow work.

The L. Morizot Frères obtained the highly reputated award, "Exposition Artisanale Paris" in 1929 for their superbe work

This bow they made for Lavest, model Pillot. (stamped on the stick).
Morizot violin bows are still wanted and respected by many amateurs and professional players.
The strong Morizot stick is made from the finest brown pernambuco wood and is round shaped.
A fine ebony frog ring with pearl eyes and a very nice 3-part screw.(all original)

The total length of the stick is around 72,9 cm and the weight of the bow is 60 gr.
The bow is straight and has a beautiful cuve.
