Beautiful Old French, attributed to JTL, circa 1900.
A fine French cello, built in France - Mirecourt.
It is a typical good Mirecourt cello, made by the respected & famous J.T.L. (Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy) company, made ca 1900.
The cello has its beautiful original varnish/patina, and is ready to play, with new Aubert bridge and strings and carbon endpin.
This JTL cello produces a big, warm en resonant cello sound with strong and full basses, and a singing A string that sound not to sharp to the ear, but
rather warm and round.
