A fine old French silver mounted master violin bow made by Cuniot Eugène . (made around 1905 !).

Beautiful round reddish-brown pernambucco stick from a fine quality; with a good curve, and a good balance.
This bow plays easy and produces a big full and open sound.
The length of the stick is around 72.5 cm and the weight of the bow is around 59 gr.
It comes with new hair, new winding and leather grip.
Ebony frog with pearl eyes and three part silver adjuster.

Eugène Cuniot-Hury was son of Pierre Cuniot who was also an archetier / bow maker. Eugene Cuniot-Hury apprenticed with his father[1] and became the teacher and employer of many outstanding French archetiers including:Emile Francois Ouchard (apprenticed with him 1886-1910 and succeeded his business), Pierre Maline and Louis MorizotAlfred Lamy worked for Cuniot-Hury as well (from Wikipedia).
