A fine Italian viola by Amadeo Berganton, Torina 1996.
This fine viola bears the maker’s label and mark and comes with a certificate from JJ Rampal.

The viola in a good original condition.(small inocent repair near the tailpiece).
A beautiful well made two-piece back of fine maple, a very elegant and well shaped scroll. 
The sound is strong, deep, intense, focussed and warm, very responsive.

The work is quite good : typical Italian work of the second half of the 20th century, with 
a beautiful reddish/ orange oil varnish.

Comes with reliable certificate of authenticity.

This viola comes with a new set of strings, chnrest etc.,...


The viola produces a strong open, but warm tone with enough bass.
LOB: 415 mm (4/4 - adult person size).
