A fine French silver mounted viola bow by Jean-Luc Tauziedé
A great French master viola bow by the ontemporary bow maker Jean-Luc Tauziedé - and certified by J.F. Raffin n Paris .
Jean-Luc Tauziede was born in the village of Anglet between Bayonne and Biarritz in 1962.
A former cello student of Jacques Doué, Jean-Luc decided to dedicate his life to bowmaking and worked in Jean-François Raffin’s
Parisian workshop from 1992-97. Jean-Luc has since worked in the Basque area of France making fine classic model bows for violin,
viola, cello and double bass, as well as older models of the “transition” and baroque periods.
He also works on the restoration and maintenance of bows.
The round stick is reddish brown and is made of first class pernambuco, a strong but flexible bow with a great balance.
This bow is in very good condition, ready to play.
A good professional bow with strong tone production, plenty of detail..
The total length of the stick is around 72,8 cm and the weight of the bow is 69 gr.
