A beautiful old violin-made in Paris by Christian Olivier & Paul Bisch in 1929, with Rampal certificate.
Numbered and signed by the maker.
Paul Bisch who was a pupil of Mougenot; also worked for Caressa and Français in Paris.
He is knwon for his fine and accurate work.
This lovely violin wears its original label inside.,dated and numbered.
A very fine violin with a beautiful oil varnish, in fine shades of brown/red colours, on a yellow ground.
This violin is made of very beautiful wood - a very nice flamed two-piece back, made of, nicely figured maple,
flamed ribs and a good carved round scroll withcharacter.
This violin generates a strong and warm tone, with plenty of personality, it is a very fine violin for orchestral work or ensemble playing.
The violin comes with a new set of strings and a new chinrest, tailpiece.
The violin comes with a reliable certificate (J. Rampal from Paris- included).
