This is a fine French certified Georges Coné violin, made in 1938, Lyon.

With Original label, dated , signed. It comes with a Rampal certificate.
Georges Coné was a memeber of the in Lyon located violin-making tradition,just like Silvestres,
Paul Blanchard and Emile Boulangeot and many other great French violin makers.

This violin is in a good condition with a great big and mature sound.

Very nice selection of wood has been used for this violin : Fine striped maple back pattern,
the beautiful ribs and well carved scroll.
