A beautiful violin - labelled Charles Jacquot - Paris.
Fine French instrument, with a beautiful reddish-brown varnish,  made in the better French workshops arounf 1900.
This violin is made of very beautiful wood as you can see : a very nice flamed one-piece back, made of, nicely figured maple, 
flamed ribs and a good carved scroll. 
This violin produces a powereful and warm tone, with plenty of personality. 
The violin comes with a new set of strings and a new chinrest, tailpiece. Very nice instrument !
