A beautiful French cello bow by Prosper Colas - made around 1900.

With J.F. raffin certificate - original brand stamp on the stick.

Prosper Colas (1842 - 1919) was trained in Mirecourt and worked for J.B. Vuillaume in Paris.

This cello bow impersonates all of the superbe playing qualities that French bows are well known for.

Beautiful brown pernambuco stick, strong, but souple elegant, draws a full buy refined cello sound.

The lenght of the stick is 69.2 cm (4/4 size), and the perfect weight of the bow is ca. 79.5 g.

All parts original !

It comes with a new hair, new winding, ready to play.
