A beautiful old violin, made in France - ca. 1910 , Arthur Parisot.
Made in the highly reputated workshop of Couesnon.
The violin has its original label inside.
A violin with a nice original brown/orange varnish-patina on a golden ground, which gives it a beautiful appearance of antique wear.
This violin is made of good materials - a superbe two-piece back , nicely figured maple, flamed ribs and a stunning scroll.
This violin produces a well-balanced open tone, with a strong projection.
This violin comes with a new set of strings and a new chinrest and tailpiece.

Couesnon has been in business for over 170 years.
The Couesnon company was started in 1827, outside of Paris.
Cousenon was located in Paris in 1882 by Amedee Couesnon the son-in-law of Gautrot Aine.
In 1883, it was called Couesnon, Gautrot et Cie, and from 1888, Couesnon et Cie.
