A fine French violin bow Dominique Peccatte workshop, certified by J.F. Raffin in Paris.

A rare, French violin bow made by the workshop of Dominique Peccatte ca. 1860,
the quality is very close to personal Peccatte work.
This is an excellent playing and handling bow in a good condition.

The stick is made from very beautiful exotic wood and is round shaped; a strong but yet very elegant bow.

Pls have a look at the very elegant typical Peccatte head.
Very nice ebony frog with pearl eyes and a fine three part screw.(all original)
A beautiful crafted stick, , a bow with great balance and a good feel in the right hand.
The total length of the stick is around 72,5 cm (button included), and the weight of the bow is around 60,5 gr.
The bow is straight and has a good cirve.

The bow is ready to play, with new Mongolian horse hair and silk winding.

A real collectors and players bow !
