A beautiful example of Gabriele Natali’s work, bears the maker’s label , and original signature.

Modern performers who play with his instruments include Daniel Stabrawa, concertmaster of the Berliner Philharmoniker,
Domenico Pierini, first violin of the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Aida Carmen Soanea, first viola of Budapest Festival Orchestra,
and winner of the Bucchi Award, Leonardo Matucci, first violin of the Puccini Festival Orchestra, Olesya Emelyanenko,
first violin of the Orchestra Promusica from Pistoia, and Kevin Shih, a talented young Chinese player living in Vienna,
to name just a few.

A fine Italian viola in a good original condition.(no cracks or repairs).
A beautiful well made one-piece back of fine maple, a very elegant and well shaped scroll. 
The sound is strong, warm, intense, focussed, very responsive.

The work is quite good : typical good Italian work of the second half of the 20th century, with 
a beautiful orange/ brown oil varnish.

Comes with 2 original Italian certificates of authenticity - one from the maker himself.

This viola comes with a new set of strings, chnrest etc.,...

The viola produces a strong open, but warm tone.
