made in France - Mirecourt around 1840. This violin is a pure beauty fort he eye !

Prolific maker on various classical models; well proportioned and finely made.
Good materials with various varnish colours, usually shaded. A well build master violin in a good condition - with original brand stamp of the maker. Beautiful attractive and subtly antiqued original amber coulor varnish.
This is a fine instrument to play with a rich responsive sound, powerfull with plenty of personality;
so it can be used as a solo-instrument, or as a fine study violin.
Length back: ca 33.5 cm (3/4 size).
