A beautiful and rare French cello bow by Jacques Poullot certified by J. Raffin - Paris.
Poullot was born in France, and studied bow making with the great Bernard Ouchard,
who taught many of the best French bow makers working today.
His bows are amongst the most popular of our bows by modern French bow makers,
and he won several prices in bow making.
This cello bow is silver mounted, and made in a 7/8 size, and was custom-made for a French professional cellist.
The elegant round stick is made from the finest reddish brown wood; a strong stick with a good flexibility,
it is well balanced; and it produces a beautiful strong and full cello sound.
This bow is in a good condition, - It is ready to play, with a new winding and leather grip.
The total length of the stick is around 67 cm (7/8 soze), and the weight of the bow is around 65 gram.
