This beautiful instrument is originally labelled and comes with a reliable Rampal certificate.
Jean-Baptiste Leonidas NADEGINI, also known as "Corolla" or "Corolia", was the son of Alexandro Salvatore NADEGINI,
an Italian violin maker who moved to Russia in the the 19th century.
J.B. Leonidas NADEGINI began his apprenticeship with his father before joining Frantz SPIDLEN's workshop in Moscow (the successor of SALZARD).
A violin with a beautiful golden - brown patina (original), fine carved edges and a fine purfling.
This violin is made of good materials - a very nice flamed one-piece back, made of, nicely figured maple,
flamed ribs and a good round head.
This violin produces a mature and full tone, plenty of personality and a warm tonal timbre.
Comes with a new set of strings - a new chinrest, tailpiece.
No soundpost cracks or repairs.
