A fine Italian violin by Marino Tarantino, Naples 1969.

A nice 4/4 Italian violin made by Marino Tarantino - Napels, Napoli.

Marino Tarentino was the son of Giuseppe Tarantino (1878 – 1962).
A nice affordable Italian instrument.
The violin has its original hand-written label - dated 1969.
Despite the fact that his work is not as well known as that of his father, it remains a nice and affordable violin.
Beautiful original orange/red varnish/patina..
This instrument comes with a new set of professional strings and a new chinrest and original tailpiece and is ready to play.
Some minor surface scratches you may expect from an old used violin.
A violin with a good sound and projection, open but warm timbre.
Size back: ca. 357 mm (4/4).
